
Fadu brings life to Cloud Nyn Bar and Restaurant in Tema
Ghanaian/Nigerian and Holland-born musician, Fadu, brought life to Cloud Nyn Bar and Restaurant on Saturday night at Community Two in Tema when she treated patrons to some delectable performances.
Known in real life as Faduad Hammond, the Holland-based songstress who was celebrating her 24th birthday, also used the occasion to promote her new single titled “Fly.”
It was a night full of indelible experiences when other artistes, such as Longlife, also thrilled patrons with some of his songs.
Musicians present to support Fadu on the night were MK Aladin, Tarlo Green, Sackitey and Kweku Bazaa with Disc jockeys Obinna and Metrix dishing out all the tracks which kept patrons on their feet till about 2am on Sunday.
There was a lot to drink and eat, after Fadu, supported by her close family, cut the birthday cake.
Fadu was a nominee for the Diaspora Artiste of the Year during the Europe 2024 Ghana Music Awards.
Currently, she is in the race for Best Diaspora Artiste and Best Hip Hop and Hiplife Artiste of the Year at the Europe 2025 Ghana Music Awards which will take place in Belgium on September 20.
Credited with songs such as Go Away, Ride4u, Follow Me, Feelings, Number 1, Desire, Far away, and recently Fly, the young female act is bent on flying high the flag of Ghana through her music.
She is managed by Gatlink Studios headed by filmmaker, Ato Yanney Jnr also known as Gato and Sueba Hammond, her biological mother.
Fadu is studying criminal psychology, under criminology, at one of the top universities in the Netherlands.
In an interview with the Graphic Showbiz after her unforgettable performance, Fadu said the night was a way of exhibiting what she is made of, to the people of Tema.
“I can do a lot and so watch out for Fadu. I am happy many loved the performance tonight,” she added.
