Good show from MTN Hitmaker contestants
Perhaps, the eviction of four contestants must have put some fear in the remaining 12 contestants for MTN Hitmaker 6.
This is because they put up impressive performances for the audience that gathered at the National Theatre last Tuesday.
With help from the beatmakers, Richie, Magnom and DJ Breezy, the finalists spent last week writing, recording and rehearsing their own songs which they performed, not only to wow the judges but their teeming fans who were at the auditorium in their numbers to cheer them on.
DJ Breezy coached rappers Freda and D-Forina, RnB singers Evey and Josh while Richie mentored RnB singers Fati, Shadey and Krymi, along with reggae dancehall act, Xali, while Magnom provided direction for RnB singers Qwo-Djo and Drew, rappers Kwesi Taadi and Yaw Berk.
The performances by most of the contestants proved that they were in to win the GHC100, 000 cash prize while some failed to up their game which elicited criticism from the judges; TV/radio host, Caroline Sampson, entertainment critic, Francis Doku and award winning music producer Kaywa.
