Since the release of the songs which have earned him two nominations at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Kumi Guitar has endeared himself to many music lovers with his choice of lyrics and enchanting voice.

Recorded by Appietus, Break Into Two is a remix of One Litre, a song  he did together  with  Sugar Tone  two years ago.

It tells the story of a man pouring out his affections for a woman he has fallen in love  with but is disappointed to know the lady is  engaged to be married to someone else.

In a bid to woo the lady, he extols the qualities he thinks sets him apart from other men and why it is important for the lady to accept his proposal so that he could treat her like his queen.

Many single ladies have fallen victim to the sweet words of married men who lure them into bed.

Like a father, he warns such ladies to be wary of men who come to them in sheep’s clothing but are wolves ready to “devour” them.

“Ladies should wise up and know that married men would not divorce their wives for them,” he cautions.

“It is important that we use our platform as musicians to advocate for positive things in the society. People should listen to  songs and feel inspired by the content and not disappointed because we serve as role models,” Kumi Guitar told Showbiz recently.

Currently managed by Mark Okraku Mantey of Slip Entertainment, Kumi is hoping to win the New Artiste of the Year and Highlife Song of the Year honours at the upcoming Ghana Music Awards. He appealed to his fans to vote for him.
