In a recently circulated video, King Vudumane openly voiced his frustration over the lack of recognition and rewards bestowed upon these music trailblazers within the country.
The video captures King Vudumane's disappointment as he questions the unequal treatment of musicians in Ghana, drawing a sharp contrast with the United States and the United Kingdom, where artists rely on royalties for their livelihoods.
"I am deeply concerned about the disparity in how musicians are treated. What is the system like in Ghana? Unlike the US or UK, where musicians sustain themselves through royalties, we must address this issue," King Vudumane exclaimed.
He firmly advocates for the Ghanaian music industry to acknowledge the immense contributions of these pioneering artists and ensure that they receive the recognition and rewards they rightfully deserve.
"Only then will they be able to cultivate a sustainable brand in the entertainment industry and reap financial benefits from their hard work," Vudumane asserted.
Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of granting these esteemed musicians their due royalties, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain their careers in the music industry.
