Being an actor and seeking for the highest political position of the land may seem a dream too far for one to achieve in our part of the world.

In an Instagram post yesterday, the About to Wed actor implored the support of his colleagues in the entertainment industry to achieve his political ambitions.
Prince David indicated that even though he had longed shelved the idea of going into politics, the task has become impossible saying, “What is written is written”.
“No matter how hard I try to avoid the calling, everything shows I have to be the president someday 😃. That's why my friends in the game don't want to support me 🙈. But what is written is written… Obama couldn't pay for his parking tickets, two years later he became the president of 🇺🇸. Investors, please gather here ooo 😃😃😂... With God, everything is possible.”
The announcement to vie for the highest office of the land has courted both support and skepticism from fans and colleagues with some praising his ambition while others questioned his qualifications and readiness for such a significant political role.
When successful, Prince David will add to the growing list of Ghanaian creatives including his colleagues, John Dumelo and Ebi Bright who are contesting for political positions
