The dashing gospel singer is optimistic that the new inspirational track released a couple of months ago, will shoot her into the international gospel music arena and give her the needed recognition to evangelise the word of God through her songs.
Won’t give up has a dancehall influence which gives it a good amount of energy and Jael’s soft voice complements that feel.
Her pretty voice constantly rang in the ears of gospel music lovers a few years ago but she decided to take a backseat and had been incognito for almost five years.
The beautiful Jael however bounced back to please her fans once again with a bouncy reggae-tainted single titled Adonai few months back.
The release of Won’t Give Up is an indication that she is poised for more action this year.
Before the long hiatus, Jael recorded four albums that carried hits like Wagye Me, Meyi Waye, Gye Me and others.
Born Tyrone Thompson, Papa San is a Jamaican reggae, dancehall and gospel singer. He started off as a dancehall deejay and later adopted traits of gospel and Christian music.
He has done collaborations with other gospel stalwarts such as Kirk Franklin, Donny McKlurkin, Israel Houghton, Fred Hammond, Nicole Mullen and many other gospel greats.
His collaboration with Jael is his first with an African gospel act.
