Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi has celebrated his birthday with a gesture of compassion and gratitude, donating assorted medical supplies to the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital in Accra.
The visit formed the highlight of a day he dedicated to love, appreciation and giving back to the community that has supported his decades-long music career.
The musician, widely known as Mr Music Man, opened the day by sharing a message of thankfulness on social media.
“Grateful for another year of life, love, and music. Honouring this blessing with thanks and love,” he posted on his Facebook page.
Later in the day, he visited the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital in the company of his wife, Rocklyin, and a few close friends. The team presented various essential medical items to the facility, a gesture aimed at supporting healthcare workers and improving patient care.
In another Facebook post following the donation, Kojo Antwi praised the dedication of the hospital’s staff. “Marked my birthday with a visit to the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Hospital donating in support of the devoted healthcare workers who continue to serve our community with heart and compassion,” he wrote.
Officials at the hospital expressed appreciation for the donation, which they described as timely and impactful, particularly as health facilities across the country continue to face rising demand for basic medical supplies.
