Korley Black to light up Somanya with Blackout concert in December

AS the festive season approaches, Somanya is getting ready for an electrifying Yuletide with fast rising artiste, Korley Black's Blackout concert scheduled for Saturday, December 28 at G Unit Plus Hotel.

This year’s which marks the fourth edition of the concert, will bring together music lovers and party enthusiasts for an unforgettable night of entertainment.

The Blackout concert features a lineup of top artistes from the Eastern Region, DJs, and performers, ensuring a non-stop musical extravaganza.

Some of the artistes billed to perform are Kwaku Origin, Hardcore Original, Minazy Yaazo, Sly Tee, Razak Malaika, Don Brainy, Pordor Kake, Nayo, Ajay Blinks and Mamle Diamond.

According to Korley Black, the event will be a highlight of Somanya's December festivities, offering residents and visitors alike an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in style.

“Christmas is already in the air and as the King of Krobo music, I intend to use Blackout concert to attract visitors from across the region to somanya. The town will certainly come alive in December,” he said.

Since its debut in 2021, the concert has consistently provided a vibrant platform for Korley Black to showcase his talents.

Last year's event was particularly memorable, with Korley Black delivering a breathtaking performance atop a two-storey building, leaving his audience and social media abuzz.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Korley Black hinted at an even more thrilling experience at this year's concert.

 “I have some exciting segments in store, including the 'Pragya Convoy' show," he revealed.

Formerly known as Black Spartan, Korley Black, an up and coming HipHop and Afrobeats artiste from Somanya is credited with songs such as Wa Ma, Krobo Rap King, Dollar First, and Dede.
