Lady Joyce drops Adonai
SINCE she released Share to the World in December last year, UK-based Ghanaian Gospel musician, Joyce Owusu Antwi known by the stage name Lady Joyce has been preparing for another one.
And with 2023 gone midway, the singer is out with a new one which she calls Adonai.

The song is produced, mixed and mastered by UK-based sound engineer, Samuel Ababio of X_tee Muzik Lab under the record Label Adenti Music Productions, owned by the singer.
The new tune which is already gaining traction within the music landscape in Ghana is a praise track encouraging all to be thankful and appreciative of God’s blessings and gifts to mankind even in times of adversity.
Taking inspiration from Psalm 148:13, which states that, “Let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven,” Lady Joyce said the song comes from a place of satisfaction about the goodness of God.
Lady Joyce told Graphic Showbiz that many times, people underrate the essence of praise to their total wellbeing and wants to use Adonai as a means of reaching out to the masses to appreciate it.
Even though Lady Joyce is not based in Ghana, she has a team who has been promoting her works here over the years.
Lady Joyce mentioned though she has not become a hit name back home, she understands that it is a process and takes inspiration from the likes of Diana Hamilton.

“It’s always a thing of joy to know that your works are accepted back home. However, that comes with a lot of financial burden since you need to do loads of promotion but I’m thankful to my team in Ghana who always fill the gap,” she said.
