Nadia Ntanu leaves for Miss World finals
Expectations are high as Miss Nadia Ntanu, Miss Ghana 2013, joins a host of other beauty queens for this year’s Miss World beauty pageant.
Nadia, who left the country on Tuesday, has a task of defending the Miss Africa crown won last year by Miss Caranzer Shooter, Miss Ghana 2012, when the finals come off on Sunday, December 14, at the Excel London, UK.

In all, 124 contestants from all over the world will compete for this year’s crown. The contestants will take part in a series of activities including talent, sports and debate competitions.
In its 64th year, the Miss World pageant has helped to celebrate the diversity of cultures across the world.
Last year’s event which was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Centre, Indonesia saw Miss Megan Young of Philippines emerge the winner.
