Onyeka Onwenu to be buried before end of August, family reveals
The family of iconic Nigerian singer and actress, Onyeka Onwenu, has disclosed plans to bury her remains before August ends.
This announcement was made during a condolence visit from the Musical Society of Nigeria (MCSN) at her Lagos residence in Ikoyi.

Her sons, Abram and Tjiani, received the MCSN delegation and expressed their intention to respect their mother's wishes with a prompt burial.
Although no specific date was mentioned, the family confirmed that the burial will occur this month, with further details to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, signing the condolence register at the late singer’s home KSA, who was overwhelmed by emotion, wrote” Dear sister and colleague, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Your fans and friends all over the world will remember you forever”.
Others in the delegation include the flutist, Tee Mac, who promised to perform at the service of songs of the late singer, Kenny Ogugbe, King Sunny Ade and Mayo Ayilaran, General Manager of MCSN among others.
