Puom Music brings star power to Easter Monday pool party in support of street talent

Music lovers in Accra are in for an exciting Easter celebration as Puom Music gears up to host a vibrant Easter Monday Pool Party to spotlight and support grassroots talent through the Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative.

Set for Monday, April 6, at the Odjidja Royal Palace in Kwabenya, the event promises a lively mix of music, culture, and purpose, bringing together some of Ghana’s most respected acts and rising voices under one roof.

Leading the charge is reggae and dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku, who also heads the Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative. The movement has been gaining attention for its focus on connecting talented young people from underserved communities to real opportunities within the music and creative arts space.

The pool party will feature performances and appearances from a strong lineup including Yaa Pono, Captan, Amerado, Obibini, Kofi Nti, Rap Fada, Kwesi Amewuga, AmakyeTheRapper, and Odkay Andy, among others.

Beyond the music and entertainment, the event carries a deeper message. Organisers say the goal is to use the platform to uplift young creatives and give them access to the industry networks they often lack.

“This is more than just a pool party. It’s a movement,” organisers shared. “The Ghetto Youth Connect Initiative is about creating real opportunities for talents who come from the streets but have global potential. Through this event, we are bringing the industry closer to the youth.”

Over time, the initiative has already begun opening doors for emerging talents such as Pawez RTB, Big Vybz, El Jena, Kwaku Agartha and Kwaku Wina, helping them gain exposure and build meaningful industry connections.

The Easter Monday event is expected to draw a diverse crowd, including music fans, creatives, and key players in Ghana’s entertainment industry, all coming together to support a cause rooted in growth, inclusion, and talent development.

The event starts at 9:00 AM and will run until late, promising a full day of music, networking, and celebration.
