Well, it didn’t get any better initially. Spatakaus Macore had to work very hard to get a breakthrough and make his music heard.
The ambition was all the energy he needed to audition for music reality shows including Mentor and MTN Hit- Maker, but he still couldn’t make the selection list.
All that dealt him a heavy blow but he tells Graphic Showbiz in an interview that it was good he went through the experiences since God had other plans for him and he is presently bearing the fruits.
“I have been doing music for about 20 years now and it has been full of ups and downs. I have participated in rap competitions and even performed at Kiddafest, Fun World, TV3’s Music Music and at major street festivals such as Chale Wote.
“I have been rejected at many auditions and at a point, disappointment seemed to be part of my life but I have promised myself never to give up until I win a Grammy. Nothing is impossible, you know”, he stated.
Notwithstanding his challenges, Spatakaus Macore, born Oware Daniel is still soldiering on with his music goals. He has released songs such as Gbelemor and Weduro and he is now out with a new one, Regardless.

Regardless, asks listeners not to be discouraged by the current economic crisis but make the most of their situation since life is short.
The artiste, who is an Assistant Warehouse Manager with an estate company told Graphic Showbiz he is not happy about the state of affairs of the industry including how some old musicians become beggars in their inactive days.
“Structures must be put in place to ensure musicians can survive on their craft since the pathetic situations of some of our old musicians is indefensible.

“This is an industry where young artistes have to pay their way through success because everyone is demanding from you but I believe if there were proper structures, some of these things could be avoided.
“Perhaps, the government can invest in the sector to attract other investors for the progress of the industry,” he stated.
