Written by Uncle Ebo Whyte, the play is a story about a young couple, Kwesi and Iris. With life throwing a heavy blow at him, Kwesi’s otherwise flourishing life takes a backseat.
His wife has no option than to take up the cost of running the home. However, things turn around when unexpected news turns Kwesi’s dreadful morning into a very exciting one and sets him on an adventure he is probably not ready for.
With the good news probably being a ‘trap’, Kwesi takes his time to respond to the call but his wife is not happy with his decision.
How will he be able to handle the stress and pressures not to kowtow to the demands that is likely to end his life with the popular saying of “the love of money is the root of all evil”.
I Like What You Like is a test of integrity, faith, love, and honour particularly in marriage.
For the past 14 years, Roverman Productions team have been serving theatre audience with quarterly plays.
