RTP winners receive awards
Big Events Ltd, organisers of Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards, has presented prizes to the various winners at a dinner ceremony held at the Alisa Hotel recently. The 2014 edition of the awards ceremony saw Kwami Sefa Kayi win the ultimate prize for the fourth consecutive time, as the Radio and Television Personality of the Year.

Present at the Alisa Hotel to receive their prizes were Kweku Sintim-Misa (KSM) and Grace Omaboe (Maame Dokono), who were both honoured with Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Other award recipients included Jessica Opare-Saforo of (Citi FM), Kojo Frimpong (Viasat 1), Dj Awana (Hitz FM), Richard Dela Sky (Citi FM) and Bobie Osei (Viasat1).
The rest were Adwoa Yeboah Agyei, Quophi Okyeame, Agyemang Prempeh (Rainbow Radio), Londona and Frankie Taylor who received prizes for the various categories they won.
They were presented with household electronic items ranging from LED TV, washing machine and fridges from GNA Home Appliances, sponsors of the RTP Awards.
Speaking at the event, Prince MacKay, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Big Events Ltd, acknowledged that the organisation of the RTP Awards had suffered some setbacks but he promised to resolve them in future editions.
“The RTP Awards over the years have suffered its fair share of challenges and it was necessary to deliver a more professional show this year, bringing on board dedicated team to execute the best awards show for 2015,” he said.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Prince MacKay assured the public of a better organised show this year.
Present at the event was Mr Kenny Andam, C.E.O of OS Petro, partners of Big Events Ltd, who expressed his commitment to support the entertainment industry in the country and called for partnership from other organisations to promote entertainment events.
