Stage actor Kwabena Yeboah of Roverman Productions is dead
Popular stage actor Kwabena Yeboah, known for his work with Uncle Ebo Whyte's Roverman Productions, has passed away.
The news broke online on April 25, but the cause of death remains undisclosed. There has been no official statement from Uncle Ebo Whyte or Roverman Productions regarding the actor's passing.
However, Kenneth Nii Saki Sackey, of the Communications Department of Roverman Productions confirmed the death on Facebook with a burning candle.
Since yesterday, a number of creatives have been pouring their tributes in his memory. Actor and CEO of Image Bureau, George Quaye wrote on Facebook, “Unbelievable! KY! Rest well bro! Deepest condolences to your family, Uncle Ebo Whyte and the entire Roverman team! This is really sad!”
Kwabena Yeboah's last Facebook post, where he often shared glimpses of his stage work, was on January 26, 2025. In it, he showcased a new hairstyle with the caption, "Things we do for work and passion."
An alumnus of Opoku Ware Senior High School and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he appeared in several of Uncle Ebo's plays, including I Want To Feed You, his last pay, he played the role of a pastor. (Read'I want to feed you' is a feast of laughter)
