How Sweet Adjeley’s husband almost killed her food vlogging ambition
Popular Ghanaian food vlogger, based in the US, Sweet Adjeley, has opened up about her journey to success, which began seven years ago.
In a recent interview on 3FM Drive, she shared how her husband was initially opposed to her food vlogging idea, valuing privacy.

Nevertheless, she expressed gratitude for his eventual support, which has been instrumental in her growth as a vlogger.
“When I wanted to start this, he said no way. I don’t want people to know what I’m eating,” she shared.

While she initially takes the high road and ignores hurtful messages, she now confidently responds when necessary.
The mother of four and medical assistant has not only thrived in the food vlogging space for seven years but has also developed her own signature recipes and spices, showcasing her culinary expertise and passion."
“I have my all-purpose seasoning. I have my natural spice mix, kelewele seasoning and I am also working on just the regular garlic, ginger powders and stuff,” she mentioned.

The US based food vlogger and a graduate of the New York restaurant school has her cooking lessons on YouTube, TikTok and Facebook with over one million subscribers on YouTube.
