Renowned gospel artiste, Obaapa Christy, has issued a heartfelt plea to the public to exercise restraint when criticising couples who have decided to divorce.

She pointed out that marriages can be fraught with intricate challenges, sometimes making separation the only viable option for personal safety.

During a candid conversation with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Obaapa, who is divorced from her first husband, Pastor Love revealed that she is unbothered by criticisms surrounding her personal life since she is channeling her energy into nurturing her current marriage.

“There are people who profess love to a woman and yet end up killing her. Many things happen, but if you haven't experienced it, you speak about it carelessly, while the victim knows how it feels.

“I don't care whether my ex-husband talks too much; we are no longer together, and it's been 10 years,” she said.

 Her previous union with Pastor Love ended in divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The exact details of their separation remain private.
