Tinny, Stonebwoy for ‘Saminifest’

The week- long Saminifest will be climaxed Saturday with a concert featuring some established and underground artistes of the nation at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.

Some of the notable artistes to thrill patrons  at jam which the organisers describe as the official ‘Christmas Party Starter’ are Tinny, Stonebwoy, Gasmilla, VVIP, Kwaw Kese, Mzbel, Kofi Kinata, Kaakie, Tictac and Bisa Kdei.

Saminifest is an annual musical festival that seeks to bring music lovers,  particularly the numerous fans of Samini all over the world, together to celebrate his outstanding works and also showcase class-act performances from other leading Ghanaian artistes.

This year’s festival started with a Saminifest Soccer Gala on Saturday, November 28, at Liberty Park, Dansoman. It was followed by a Feed the Kids Charity Party on Wednesday, December 2, at Awoshie.

The launch of Samini’s much awaited new album, Breaking News, was also held on  Thursday, December 3, at the +233 Jazz Bar and Grill and an African Market Day, which took place at the Dancestardom Night Club yesterday.
