UniMaC Artiste night showcases nation’s unique musical talents

Patrons of a musical show at the University of Media, Arts, and Communications (UniMaC) in Accra last Thursday were treated to a variety of captivating musical performances that depicted the nation's rich creative industry.

Dubbed “UniMaC Artiste Night" and hosted by Dope Concepts, a leading event management company, the event showcased emerging and established artistes across the country, offering a platform for them to exhibit their respective unique talents and creativity.
 
Artistes that featured on the night included Kelvynboy, EL, La meme, Tulenkey who provided a mixture of Afrobeats, Highlife and contemporary genres that depicted the rich musical landscape of the country.
 
An electrifying performance and perfectly synchronised dance moves by the DWP and De- Links dancers, set the tone for the event. That was followed by a series of musical performances that captivated the audience. Talented vocalists and instrumentalists took to the stage, performing original compositions as well as popular songs, demonstrating their versatility and passion for music.

Patrons were treated to a night of energetic performances, with each artiste delivering standout sets that captivated the crowd. From sentimental music to infectious dance beats, the event catered for a wide range of musical tastes, for the enjoyment of everyone.

Networking

The Unimac Artiste Night was not just a showcase of talent, but also an opportunity for networking and professional growth. The event therefore brought together notable figures from the creative industry, including music producers, art curators, and media personalities. 

These industry leaders interacted with the performers, providing valuable feedback and potential collaboration opportunities.

Satisfaction

The Chief Executive Officer of Dope Concepts, Nana Dope expressed his satisfaction with the event, saying, "We are thrilled with the outcome of the Unimac Artiste Night. Our goal was to create a space where young artistes could shine, and we are proud to have achieved that.
