Video: Moesha receives ‘healing’ for stroke in church

In an extraordinary display of faith and resilience, Ghanaian socialite Moesha Buduong has made a remarkable recovery from a debilitating stroke that left her paralyzed on the left side of her body for many years.

A video circulating on social media shows Moesha taking steady, unaided steps at Divine Palace Ministry, headed by Prophet Percy Lartey and sparking jubilation among the congregation.

The crowd erupted in praise and worship, giving thanks for the miraculous healing.

The latest development will be good news for Moesha’s well-wishers who might have probably showed concern for the latter following Moesha’s disclosure that she hasn’t been able to walk or speak well for the past months in an interview with nkonkonsa.com.

“I went off completely and I was in bed for several months. I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t talk and couldn’t do anything. I thank God I am better now.

“As you can see, I talk now even though I am still struggling to speak properly. Half of my body is paralyzed now. One of my legs and one of my hands are not functioning now. So I can’t type on phone now, I can only talk on phone”, Moesha is reported to have said that.

That notwithstanding, Moesha believes that God will fully heal her. “I know God will heal me, and I will become a global superstar,” she said. (More articles on Moesha: Drop your old friends - Azigiza advises Moesha, Moesha not ‘mad’ — Kaywa defends actress)

God might have indeed come through for considering a much improved condition from what was  earlier reported this week.

Earlier this year, a number of celebrities supported Moesha’s brother, Ebito Boduong, to raise funds for the actress and social media star after she suffered a stroke.

The celebrities including Efya, Fella Makafui, Serwaa Amihere and Akuapem Poloo, called on Ghanaians to donate to the actress’ GoFundMe, which would go to pay for her medical expenses as she recovers.

The GoFundMe account was to raise $10,000 to cater for her medical bills but an amount of $5,158 was realised.
