The fearless travel collective is set to embark on a thrilling 30,000-kilometer journey, spanning three months and covering 30 countries.

This was disclosed at a vibrant send-off celebration held at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park organised by Ghana Tourism Authority, on Sunday, September 8.

The epic expedition will take them from Accra to Paris, then Dubai, and finally, Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2023, the team did 10,000 kilometres from Accra  through many African countries to London in the United Kingdom through other European countries.

The CEO of Wanderlust Ghana,  Kwabena Peprah, said the upcoming trip was beyond mere adventure but a mission to put Ghana firmly on the global map and showcase its rich culture and beauty to the world.

“For us, this time around, it’s about making Ghana a tourist destination for most foreigners,” Peprah emphasised, speaking of the group's ambition to showcase the country's potential on the world stage.

He candidly admitted that car troubles pose a significant threat to the journey's timeline, but with unwavering optimism, he quipped, "We're embracing the challenge and reveling in the journey."

The Ghana Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism, are collaborating with Wanderlust on this ambitious project.

In a speech, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Akwasi Agyeman, said the adventure will boost Ghana’s tourism.

“This adventure will give Ghana mileage in terms of tourism, considering the various media stops they would have at the destinations in other countries,” he said.
