Why Akofa Edjeani wants to be in Hollywood
If there is anything that actress, Akofa Edjeani is looking to achieve in her long years of acting, is to be a cast in a Hollywood movie.
Her desire also extends to playing ‘action’ in a Hollywood thriller since has she always looked forward to the opportunity to explore her acting flexibility.

Speaking with Graphic Showbiz on the sidelines of the book launch of “The Lady In Boots” recently, the ‘I Sing of a Well’ said she’s got what it takes to be in Hollywood.
“I think I have seen and done all that an actress of my status needs to do and so I want to explore new territories and Hollywood makes the first list. It will be more than a personal achievement for me and a platform to showcase Ghana's vibrant culture and abundant talents on the global stage,” she stated.
Akofa Edjeani has earned lots of admiration for interpretation of roles in movies such as “Not My Daughter," "For Better For Worse," and "Dirty Tears" Jennifer, When the Heart Decides, Harvest at 17, Divine Love and Expectations. In 2015 she featured in the British-Ghanaian award-winning movie, The Cursed Ones.
While many of her colleagues and stakeholders continue to express gloom about the movie industry, the mother of two told Graphic Showbiz that all is not lost.
She is positive that things will turn around when relevant measures including adequate funding is put in place.
