World Junkanoo Festival postponed to May 2024

Organisers of International World Junkanoo Festival of Tourism and Culture has postponed the maiden edition of the event which initially scheduled for October ending this year to May 2024.

“We wish to inform you that the maiden edition of the International World Junkanoo Festival of Tourism and Culture which was originally scheduled to take place in October 2023 has been postponed to May 2024. This is due to the delay in securing the official Event Code from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada”.

“As a result, the organizers deemed it necessary to postpone the event to May 2024 to allow sufficient time for participants to process their travel documents.
