Zylofon closes chapter on sign-ons
Any artiste or entertainment personality who still harbours dreams of joining the likes of Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar among others at Zylofon Media should wake up from that sleep.
This is because that dream may take quite a while to become a reality as disclosed by Samuel Baah, Public Relations Officer of Zylofon Media when he spoke to Showbiz on Tuesday.

According to Sammy Baah popularly known as Sammy Flex, they are done signing artistes.
He said Zylofon Media has closed the chapter on signing artistes and is rather busy working on building the brand of the artistes who are under their wings.
Speculations were rife on both social and traditional media that Dancehall artiste, Kaakie was on her way to Zylofon Media after she announced her decision to part ways with her management of six years, Xtra Large Music, with an Instagram post with the hashtag #NEWWORLD @ KAAKIEGH which was subsequently shared by Zylofon Media on their own social media page.
Sammy Flex explained that there has not been any discussions between Zylofon Media and Kaakie and neither are there plans to sign her.
He told Showbiz that Zylofon Media is done signing artistes at this time and are instead focusing on boosting the brands of the artistes which are currently signed on to their label.
“We have not had any discussions with Kaakie about signing her. Our chapter on signing artistes is closed for now and there will not be any signings anytime soon.

“ If there will be any dealings with artistes, then this will be in the area of distribution deals and other similar projects,” he said.
Speaking about the Instagram post that sparked all the speculations, Sammy Flex said Zylofon Media has a social media page which deals with all their social media engagements and the platform decided to share Kaakie’s picture as a way of wishing her well, when they learnt she had split from her management.
“We simply shared the picture to wish Kaakie well in her journey forward. The caption ‘Neworld’, which was shared with the picture, was to signify that Kaakie is entering a new world and to wish her well,” he said.
