Popular presenter MzGee to leave Media General
Radio and television personality Gloria Akpene Nyarko popularly known as MzGee is leaving the Media General Group where she has worked for two years.
A statement from Media General signed by its head of Corporate Affairs Chris Koney, issued on Friday, October 15 indicated that MzGee's resignation will take effect from Monday, October 25.
"MzGee has been a valuable addition to the Group and her contribution is appreciated. Management wishes her the best of luck in her future endeavours," the statement added.

MzGee herself announced her resignation on social media expressing her gratitude to Media General, where she hosted programmes on TV3 and 3FM, for its support.

She wrote: "This is to express my profound gratitude to Media General for making my stay memorable.
It has been another opportunity for tremendous growth.
I truly appreciate the platforms granted me to give Gh and beyond great highlights!
But, it is now time to fly higher!

MzGee joined Media General in 2019 after leaving Multimedia. At the time she joined Media General, she told Graphic Showbiz that she was looking for new challenges.
"At Multimedia I felt I had hit the ceiling, there was nothing else for me to do, I had done it all so going to a place where I would do radio and television again, knowing that I had been off radio for a while, it looked promising.

"I was not going to start from the scratch, I had built some reputation for myself, so I was happy going to surmount another challenge, I didn't have a lot to look back on," she stated.
