MOLES IN THE TEACHER FOLD: WHO WILL BELL THE CAT?
“Every Professional Can Boast, But the Teacher Taught Them All.” This was the inscription I saw on the back of a T-shirt worn by a member of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), at Kpassa in the Nkwanta-North district of the Volta Region.

The inscription pressed the button of curiosity in me, so, I drew closer to him and asked what the inscription meant. “You see, doctors, lawyers, ministers, accountants, and all the big people in our society boast about their achievement in life. It is the teacher that made them who they are”, he explained.
The above scenario goes to buttress the point that teachers play an integral role in the socio-economic development of the country. They are the architects who model all manner of professionals to propel the development wheel of the nation.
What this means is that there is a direct correlation between the quality of teachers in the country and the spa
