Kenya polls: Uhuru declared winner

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of Kenya has declared President Uhuru Kenyatta winner of the presidential polls.

IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati officially declared Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the presidential election having garnered 8,203,290 votes to beat opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga who garnered 6,762,224 votes.
