GAME presents teaching kits to New Asafo M/A Basic School

Game, a retail shop in Ghana, has presented 11 kit boxes containing teaching aids to the New Asafo M/A Basic School at Asokwa in Kumasi.

The boxes, which contained mathematical sets, rulers, markers, calculators and other educational aids were to support teaching and learning at the school.

The Marketing Manager of Game, Mr Marco Rocha, said the presentation formed part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.

Game opened its second store in Ghana at the newly opened Kumasi City Mall, after nine years of operating in Accra. 

Mr Rocha said Game had always been committed to supporting Early Childhood Development in the communities within the radius of the store.

He was hopeful that the donation would go a long way to improve education in the area.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Foster Opoku, expressed gratitude to the company for the donation which he said would help in the teaching and learning at the school.

He assured the company that the materials would be used for the intended purpose.
