Book on Dr Asafo-Agyei Anane-Frempong launched
A ninety-three-page book on the achievement and contribution of Bishop Asafo-Agyei Anane-Frempong, Director of Asafo Agyei Hospital, the first international piles treatment centre in Ghana, to healthcare has been launched in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

The book launch also coincided with Bishop Anane-Frempong’s birthday and the occasion was used to solicit funds to cater for needy patients in the country.
The first copy of the book was bought at GH¢20,000 by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
He commended the author for his contribution to quality healthcare delivery, particularly his expertise in the non-surgical treatment of piles.
He said the efforts of Bishop Anane-Frempong must be emulated by health experts and other professionals to enable them to move health delivery to the highest levels.
He said the country could only develop when its citizens and professionals were committed, selfless, dedicated and worked hard to transform the country .
Bishop Anane-Frempong said his vision and objectives were to find pathways of excellence in physical health delivery and provide spiritual well-being to the deprived in society as a way of giving back to the community and the entire nation.
He said he had decided to establish educational institutions from the basic to second cycle levels, as well as a university and a teaching hospital to enhance education in the country.
The book was launched by Bishop Prince Hampel of Liberty Global Christian Church.
