Don't be scammed! Ghana Education Service alerts public over fake job circular

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent recruitment letter currently circulating on social media.

The fake document falsely claims that financial clearance has been granted for the recruitment of 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff.

In a press release dated September 21, 2025, and signed by the Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, the Service stated that the letter is "FAKE and did not originate from GES."

Management confirmed that no such recruitment exercise has been announced.

The GES emphasised that when an official recruitment process does commence, it will be communicated exclusively through the Service’s and the Ministry of Education’s official channels.

The public is strongly advised to disregard the counterfeit letter and to report any fraudulent activities associated with it to the authorities.
