GES secures financial clearance for 6,249 newly recruited teachers

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that it has received financial clearance for the payment of salaries to 6,249 teachers recruited in 2024.

A press release issued on October 16 and signed by the Head of Public Relations at GES, Daniel Fenyi, explained that the approval would enable it to complete all necessary processes to ensure the affected teachers are paid.

According to the release, although the financial clearance expires on December 31, 2025, management will ensure all staff are placed on the mechanised payroll in time for November 2025 payments.

The release expressed appreciation to the staff for their dedication and reaffirmed management’s commitment to ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
