GNAT assists brilliant but needy puplis

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has presented teaching and learning materials to 50 brilliant, needy pupils in the Jenini D/A Primary School in the Jaman District in the Bono Region and Nhwenne D/A Primary in Asunafo in the Ahafo Region.
The items included school uniforms, bags, camp boots with socks, exercise books, supplementary readers, pens and pencils.
The 50 beneficiaries were made up of 25 boys and 25 girls.
Twenty-five pupils were selected from each school.
The association also purchased 40 dual desks, eight teachers’ tables and chairs.
The presentation formed part of activities lined up by the association to join teachers all over the world to sobserve World
Teachers Day which falls on October 5 every year.
