KETASCO ’96 Year Group to launch 30th anniversary on December 14

The 1996 Year Group of the Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) will on Sunday, December 14, launch activities marking its 30th Anniversary celebration in Accra.

The event, which will take place at the Christ the King – St Maria Conference Room opposite the Flagstaff House, is expected to bring together members of the Dzolali ’96 Year Group as they begin commemorating three decades since completing their education at KETASCO.

In the lead-up to the anniversary, the year group has commenced the construction of a 12-seater ultra-modern washroom facility for the KETASCO Girls’ Dormitory. The project, valued at GH¢300,000, is the group’s principal legacy initiative for the milestone celebration.

According to organisers, the facility is intended to enhance hygiene and improve living conditions for female students, reinforcing the group’s long-standing commitment to supporting the school’s development.

The launch will also provide an opportunity for the year group to outline additional projects and activities planned for the anniversary period. These initiatives, organisers say, are aimed at giving the school a facelift and contributing to the broader improvement of academic and residential infrastructure.

The anniversary is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including members of the Dzolali ’96 Year Group, past students, friends, well-wishers and stakeholders of KETASCO. Organisers have encouraged all supporters to join the celebrations and rally behind the ongoing development efforts.

Participants will also use the occasion to reconnect, reflect on their shared experiences and build stronger networks to support future projects for their alma mater.
