Knight Piésold Ghana refurbishes Suhum Secondary Technical School’s Science Laboratory

Knight Piésold Ghana Limited has demonstrated its dedication to education and community development through its Students’ Initiative Programme. 

During the fourth quarter of 2024, the company renovated the Chemistry Laboratory at Suhum Secondary Technical School in the Eastern Region, providing essential scientific equipment such as distillation tools, beakers, test tubes, and pipettes. This effort aimed to create a conducive learning environment that sparks interest in science and technology.

Mrs Elizabeth Ama Agyakwa, the headmistress, expressed gratitude to the management and staff of Knight Piésold, highlighting that the donation would significantly enhance the learning of science.

Over the last twelve years, the Schools Initiative Programme, part of Knight Piésold Ghana’s CSR efforts, has been inspiring students to pursue engineering careers through activities such as infrastructure modelling competitions, quizzes, debates, and donations. In 2023, the programme extended support to St Kizito Senior High Technical School in Mepe, Volta Region, by donating educational resources following the Akosombo Dam spillage, which significantly impacted local communities.
