PRINCOF revises reopening date for Colleges of Education

The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has adjusted the reopening date for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Initially scheduled for an earlier date, the reopening has been moved to Monday, January 27, 2025.

The decision was made during a PRINCOF general meeting held in Sogakope on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

In a statement directed to staff, students, and stakeholders, PRINCOF explained the change was due to “unforeseen circumstances that require our immediate attention.”

The General Secretary of PRINCOF, Dr Samuel Addae-Boateng, acknowledged the potential inconvenience the decision might cause, stating, “We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption it may cause.”

He reassured stakeholders of PRINCOF’s efforts to resolve the challenges quickly, adding, “Please be assured that we are committed to ensuring a smooth start of the academic year and are working diligently with the relevant authorities to address these issues effectively.”

PRINCOF extended its gratitude to all stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation during this period and urged everyone to take note of the revised date as preparations continue for the academic year.
