Aglow holds mid-year thanksgiving service

A non-denominational Mid-Year Thanksgiving Service comes off on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Black Star Square at 7a.m. The programme which is under the auspices of Aglow International is dubbed “Afi Mpeamu Aforebo”.

A statement issued by the group said God had redeemed the nation from destruction by safeguarding our peace and security so He deserved all the glory.


It said the theme is “Ghana will bless the Lord at all times,” Psalm 34:1.


The statement also said special artistes at the programme are Uncle Ato and Celestine Donkor and in attendance would be the Aglow Choir, God’s Gift International Brass Bank and Aglow Tambourine Choir.


It asked the public to bring their vuvuzelas, whistles, white handkerchiefs and any praise gadgets to praise the Almighty God, for his faithfulness and mercies towards Ghana. The attire would be white.


Similar sessions would be held at the jubilee Parks in Kumasi, Sunyani, Takoradi, Tamale, Bolga, Wa and Cape Coast, Koforidua: Jackson Park and Ho: RTC Park.
