Agradaa's brother denies sacking Angel Asiamah from house
Some media reports at the weekend had suggested that after Patricia Asiedua, aka Nana Agradaa was jailed for 15 years last week, his junior brother moved to her house and sacked the husband, Angel Asiamah from there and locked up together with the television station Agradaa manages for her activities.
But the brother, nicknamed “1 Gig” has reacted to the reports and said it is not true and that he has not done anything of that sort.
In separate videos shared on social media, he denied the reports and said he has not even been to house since her sister was incarcerated last week.
He acknowledged Angel Asiamah as his brother-in-law and said what was needed at the moment was how to proceed with the legal battle to free his sister from custody and that he would not engage in any such unnecessary and unlawful banters.
He said he was a law abiding citizen and acknowledges Asiamah had the lawful right to take charge in the absence of her sister.
Agradaa has had banters with the brother in the past which resulted in the brother even leaving her church, the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry located at Weija in Accra.
On social media, some had suggested that the marriage between Asiamah and Agradaa was an issue of convenience and that once Agradaa was out of the way, Asiamah was going to abandon her.
On the first Sunday after her incarceration, Angel Asiamah took full charge of the church service at the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry.
An Accra Circuit Court on Thursday convicted self-styed evangelist and founder of the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, Patricia Asiedua, aka Nana Agradaa.
She was found guilty on several counts of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence.
The court sentenced her to 15 years in prison in hard labour.
