Chinese Embassy to partner Ghana on sanitation
The Chinese Embassy in Ghana has expressed its willingness to collaborate with the government to tackle sanitation problems.

The newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Ms Sun Baohong, made the remarks when she called on the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo, in Accra last Friday.
The call was meant for the Chinese envoy to officially introduce herself to the minister.
The Chinese envoy and the regional minister deliberated on how they could collaborate for the mutual benefit of their respective countries.
In view of the fact that there were some similarities in Ghana and China, she expressed the optimism that her outfit could make strides in the area of waste management in Ghana to complement the government’s efforts.
Experiences and ideas
Welcoming the new Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Nii Agbo said the two countries could share experiences and ideas, adding that every collaboration from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana would be welcomed.
According to him, the tourist attraction and security arrangements in Ghana, particularly in Accra, the seat of government, was impressive.
He encouraged foreign investors to first report at the Regional Co-ordinating Councils ( RCC) in the various regions in which they wished to invest to facilitate access to other ministries with oversight responsibility on investment areas of interest.
He expressed his appreciation to Ms Sun for the visit and assured her of the government’s commitment to collaborate with China for future development programmes in both countries.
Nii Agbo said he would always support her and all such investors in the pursuance of their development agenda.
