Christian trainer awarded a doctorate

The West African Director of Samaritan Strategy, Dr Christopher Ampadu, has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy degree by the International Centre for Bible Research of the Cypress Bible Institute (CBI) of the USA for training top Christian leaders on the African continent.

Samaritan Strategy is a Christian organisation which trains leaders across Africa in Christian ministry, community development and biblical world view.

A citation accompanying the award stated, among others things, that Dr Ampadu had made a positive impact on the doctrines of Jesus Christ by training leaders in the Christian faith in Africa.

People trained by Dr Ampadu, the citation added, had transformed their societies as Christian missionaries and led exemplary Christian lives.

Receiving the award, Dr Ampadu, who is also a lecturer in sociology at the Pentecost University College, expressed gratitude to the CBI for the recognition given him.

He pledged to work harder to advance the Christian faith.
