COVID-19: Ghana records 382 new cases, active cases now 2,858
Ghana has recorded 382 new cases of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), increasing the cumulative number of active cases in the country to 2,858.
The country's total cumulative case count stands at 98,817.
An update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS), indicates that as of Wednesday, July 14, 2021 the total number of persons who have succumbed to the disease was 812.

The number of persons who have recovered/discharged is 95,147 with 27 persons in severe condition 12 others in critical condition.
Testing
The country has so far conducted a total of 1, 357,389 tests out of which 98,817 persons tested positive.
Of the 98, 817 infected persons, 34,548 were detected from Routine Surveillance, 62,270 were from Enhanced Contact Tracing and 1,999 from international travellers at the Kotoka International Airport.
Ghana's test positivity rate now stands at 7.3 per cent.
Regional Breakdown
The Greater Accra Region still leads with the highest case count followed by Ashanti Region and Western Region.
