COVID-19: Ghana's active cases now 4,878
Ghana now has 4,878 active cases after the Ghana Health Service (GHS) announced 992 new COVID-19 infections.
The GHS update released on Monday increased the country's case count to 21,077.
The update also indicated that the new cases were detected from samples collected between June 18-July 1, 2020.

The death toll from the disease increased by seven new cases to 129 while the number of recoveries/discharges rose to 16,070.
Deaths
Providing a breakdown of the seven new deaths, the GHS indicated that six of the deceased persons had co-morbidities. Five of the deaths were recorded in the Ashanti Region and the rest were recorded in the Central region.
