COVID-19: Omni Speciality Products donates to Noguchi
Omni Speciality Products, a service provider in Public Health Pest Control has presented 10,000 COVID-19 Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) kits, 5000 face masks, and 10 temperature guns to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) to boost its COVID-19 testing.
The Managing Director of Omni Group of Companies, Mr Michael Zormelo, said the donation forms part of Omni Speciality Products commitment in complementing government's effort in the fight against Covid-19.
He said the donation would enhance rapid testing at the centre in order to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

He explained that the RDT's donated were being used in thirty-eight (38) countries and that it had been approved by the United State of America Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
Mr Zormelo stressed the need for businesses and corporate bodies to complement government's efforts towards the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It is everybody's responsibility to help fight COVID-19. The airports will eventually be opened, schools will be resuming. This calls for rapid testing. We will continue to assist in whatever way we can to help fight COVID-19," he pledged.
Receiving the items, the Director of NMIMR, Prof. Abraham Kwabena Annan expressed his appreciation to Omni Speciality Products for their kind gesture.
"We still have the responsibility to keep our communities and population safe so that we can have good health for development," Prof. Anang noted.
He said "The rapid test kits are very useful in our operations. You can use them for easy information collection and management especially people who have not been yet been exposed to COVID-19."
