Daily Graphic leads print media readership in Ghana - GeoPoll
Your authoritative Daily Graphic is the most popular daily newspaper in Ghana with 1.5 million readers per day, a survey conducted by GeoPoll, the leading mobile surveying platform in Africa, Asia and the Middle East has found.
The survey of the top 15 newspapers in Ghana found that the state-owned Daily Graphic had twice as many readers (1.5 million) as its closest competitor the Daily Guide which has a daily readership of 726,000 followed by the Ghanaian Times in third place with a daily readership of 532,000.
Other newspapers of the Graphic Communications Group Limited namely; The Mirror, Junior Graphic, Graphic Sports and Graphic Showbiz came in at fourth, fifth, seventh and ninth respectively.

The Mirror which hits the stands every Friday was rated by Geopoll with a readership of 416,000, the Junior Graphic which is released every Wednesday with 248,000, the thrice-weekly Graphic Sports was ranked with a readership of 169,000 while the twice-weekly Graphic Showbiz was rated with a readership of 146,000.
According to Geopoll, the top media outlets were determined using the daily data collected through GeoPoll’s Media Measurement Service, which has been measuring media audience ratings through mobile phone surveys in Ghana since 2014.
In the rankings of the top Ghanaian TV stations, Adom TV was the leading station in 2017 with 662,000 average viewers. It was followed by TV3 and UTV to close out the top three. Joy Prime sits in fourth at 364,000 average viewers.
For radio, GeoPoll analyzed data at the regional level in Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Western regions, as seen in the charts below. Peace FM, Citi FM, and Joy FM lead the way in Accra.
