Donkorkrom police robbers remanded

The two police officers and civilian involved in the robbery of a bullion van belonging to the GCB bank Limited at Mame Krobo in the Eastern Region were on Tuesday remanded into police custody by the Accra District Court.
The three accused persons, General Corporal Solomon Elvis Mensah, General Lance Corporal Daniel Kissi Abrokwa and Hafisu Muhammad, a driver have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The two police men were also charged with attempted robbery and murder.
The court, presided over by Mr Stephen Owusu, has adjourned the case to September 6, 2016.
