Bawumia, National Chief Imam present as Prophet Nakoa coronated Development Chief

Prophet Nazareth Ansah Jamson (alias Prophet Nakoa), the leader of the Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council of Ghana was coronated as the "Nor Yaa Mantsɛ" (Development Chief) of the Onomrako Adain Family of Ga at a colourful ceremony in Accra last Saturday.

The well-respected pastor was presented to the public and a host of high-profile dignitaries, including religious leaders, traditional rulers, and politicians.

High-profile attendance

The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, who maintains a close relationship with Prophet Nakoa, witnessed the ceremony with a distinguished delegation.

While the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, missed the initial ceremony due to pressing national duties, he was represented by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey. However, Dr. Bawumia joined the event later in the evening to personally congratulate the Prophet.

On the royal front, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was represented by Nana Kwaku Amankwa Sarkodie II, while the Ga Traditional Council also sent a delegation to represent the Ga Mantse.

Recognition

The installation of Prophet Nakoa as Nor Yaa Mantsɛ recognizes his impactful development initiatives within his community and at the national level. 

He is credited with numerous projects that have supported many and positively impacted lives across the country.

Prophet's gratitude

Expressing his gratitude to the Onomrako Adain Family for the honour, Prophet Nakoa pledged to continue supporting communities. He drew a parallel to the Biblical Joseph, who rose to prominence in Egypt and became a blessing to the nation and the world. He expressed hope that his coronation would similarly benefit the family and many communities throughout Ghana.

Prophet Nakoa extended gratitude to the guests who graced the occasion, especially Vice President Bawumia. 

He was particularly touched by the Vice President's gesture of sending a representative despite his national commitments and later joining the event personally. He described it as a sign of respect and expressed his sincere appreciation.
