Encourage working culture among members - Global Evangelical Church urged

During the 2023 Tema Presbytery Representative Conference (PRC) held in Sakumono, Mr. Rockson Dogbegah, the Chairman of Berocks Group of Companies, challenged the Global Evangelical Church to focus on encouraging a strong work ethic within the Church.

He emphasized that the Church's strategic position could help it make a greater impact on the world than it is currently doing, but only if it upholds the virtues of holiness.

To achieve this, he urged the Church to enlighten its congregants on the importance of work and to invest in technology to communicate with members more effectively.

Mr. Dogbegah also suggested that the Church refocus its stance on women wearing trousers and instead emphasize decency in dressing and behavior.

The Moderator of the Church, Rt Rev Prosper Samuel Dzormeku, spoke on the importance of Christian leaders exhibiting virtues of holiness in their dealings and leading by example.

The Tema Presbytery Chairman, Reverend Lawrence Ganyo, affirmed the Church's commitment to holy living and transforming society.

He also encouraged parents to instill the tenets of the Bible in their children.

The conference aimed to address previous shortfalls and devise new strategies to better position the Church for growth, with a focus on enhancing holy living across all sectors of the economy.
