GCB Bank has marked a milestone in its digital transformation journey with an official awards ceremony recognizing recipients of its “Tap, Refer & Fly” Digital Loyalty Campaign, held at its Head Office on Monday, 9th June 2025.

The campaign, spanning from November 2024 to January 2025, was designed to expedite the utilization of the Bank’s digital platforms, including the award-winning mobile app and USSD (*422#) banking services. To foster digital engagement, customers were incentivized, ultimately aiming to establish a seamless and technologically driven banking experience. The response was overwhelming with customers across the country participating - a clear sign of progress in the Bank’s digital strategy and its unwavering commitment to providing exceptional services that exceed customer expectations’.

Throughout the campaign period, all participants received weekly cashback rewards, ensuring broad-based inclusion and appreciation for their digital activity. Their loyalty and enthusiasm for digital banking made them true champions of modern banking.

The are Adams Sadik, first place with an all-expenses-paid summer vacation to Dubai, Andrews Arthur, second place and Florence Benewaa, third place.

Overwhelmed with immense joy, the recipients expressed their gratitude to the Bank for not only orchestrating such an extraordinary campaign but also upholding its commitment to honoring all participants. “When I got the call from a representative of GCB Bank, I initially mistook it for a scam and nearly disregarded it. However, after the representative authenticated herself and, naturally, refrained from requesting my PIN or personal information, I proceeded with the necessary actions and am filled with excitement about this upcoming trip,” shared an awardee.  

The award ceremony was strategically held during the launch of the Bank’s Bancasurrance Month. It was attended by several executives, key staff from selected departments, and partners from Starlife Assurance Limited. The Executive Head of Retail Banking, Sina Kamagate, emphasized the Bank’s commitment to providing customized solutions and urged both internal and external stakeholders to anticipate even more captivating products and campaigns to further enhance their experiences.
