The GHS in a statement dated October 14, this year, said public health emergency management committees at all levels, district, regional and national have been activated.

The Ghana Health Service further indicated that "As of 11th October, nine cholera cases had been confirmed in both districts --Ada West and Ada East.

Similarly, he said, an 'Alert' has been sent to all health facilities across the country, with contact identification, tracing and follow-up being conducted.
