Dignitaries to receive commemorative gold coin, gold medal honours

A grateful Asantehene will decorate a number of dignitaries with the Otumfuo commemorative gold coin and gold medals.

These awardees are worthy of the time and other resources Otumfuo invested in mediating protracted conflicts.

Key on the list are President John Dramani Mahama; former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; former President John Agyekum Kufuor; former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia; Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary-General, The Commonwealth; His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, Olu of the Warri Kingdom; Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, Chief Justice; Sir Sam Jonah; Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, Minister of Finance; Dr Johnson Asiama, Governor of the Bank of Ghana; Mr Alex Dadey, Executive Chairman, KGL Group; Mr Sammy Gyamfi, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Gold Board; Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (Napo), former Energy Minister, and Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector General of Police.
